I met Michael when I did a photo session with his family a few years ago and I simply adore his family! I also captured his parent’s surprise wedding vow renewal to celebrate their 30th anniversary that Michael and his sister, Tiffanie arranged…it was awesome!
Needless to say, I was excited and honored when he contacted me to see if I would be available to do his wedding this October…and when I met his lovely bride to be, Azsa, that put the icing on the wedding cake!
I always encourage clients to choose a location that they truly want instead of what’s close and convenient so when Azsa suggested Rodeo Drive…I was all in!
We had a two part session with part one in Temecula/Murrieta which included one of their favorite spots and part 2 on Rodeo Drive.
Here are a few of my favorites from their engagement session!
Michael is a drummer…and we know who has dibs on this handsome and talented drummer!
His beautiful fiancé has dibs on this drummer ;D
Then we headed to our main spot…Rodeo Drive…we had so much fun! Aren’t they the cutest couple!
Congratulations Myke and Azsa!! I can’t wait for your wedding! Thank you for letting K. Chappell Photo Creations be a part!!

Anuyell wanted a simple photo shoot for an upcoming milestone birthday party so we headed to Old Town Temecula and got some great images for him to use for his invitations and birthday party.
Anuyell is an assistant coach at a Community College in San Diego County so we had to incorporate a little bit of a sports theme…AND just as a side note, he recently received his Masters Degree!! He has quite a bit to be proud of and plenty of reasons to celebrate!
Here are a few of my favorites from our session…enjoy!
Have a fabulous birthday celebration and thank you for letting K. Chappell Photo Creations capture this special moment in your life!

It was the perfect day at the Oak Creek Golf Club in Irvine, CA. for Sarah’s Graduation Party! After years of hard work and dedication, it was time to CELEBRATE her amazing accomplishment of graduating from Western University of Health and Sciences in Pasadena, CA. as Dr. Sarah Kasko, with a specialty in Psychiartry! Sarah was surrounded by many friends and family to help celebrate this special occasion and what a fun time it was! Here are a few of my favorites!
We snuck away for a few photos and it made my heart smile to see how proud her father was of his beautiful daughter…You obviously did a great job Dr. Andre Kasko, because she followed in your footsteps!
Sarah’s proud father shared a few words from the heart and it was so beautiful…
Sarah also shared words of gratitude with her friends and family ♥

When I first spoke to Jill on the phone I instantly loved her energy! The love that she and Luis have for each other was evident as she shared their story of how they rose above a few odds to become one.
We decided to do a photo shoot at a location that has special meaning to her and Luis. I always encourage people to choose a spot that is special to them and not on convenience, and since they love the beach that is exactly where we headed and it was worth it!!
Jill and Luis were recently married and will be celebrating with friends and family this July!
Here are a few of my favorites from our session.
A BIG thank you to LaResha Smith-Garland for referring this beautiful couple to K. Chappell Photo Creations! I can’t wait for the July celebration…it is going to be amazing! Thank you Luis and Jill for letting K. Chappell Photo Creations be a part of this special time in your lives!!

I had the PLEASURE of doing Claire’s Senior Session! She is my first High School Senior for 2015 and I loved every minute of it. Claire was so easy and fun to work with…my camera loved her!! I had so many that I loved, but here are a few of my favorites from our session!!
I love when I can talk the parents into getting into a few photos because this is such a special time in their lives and they will surely treasure this moment forever! I know they are so proud of Claire…I am too ♥
I told you my camera loved her!!
At the end of our session we had a little fun with a bubble blowing contest…and of course Claire won!!!
Claire…promise me you will always dream big!!! I know great things await you and I am honored to have been able to capture just a small portion of your High School Memories!
A BIG thank you to Pamela Smith for referring this wonderful family to me!!! It was truly a blessing….thank you Pam…xoxoxo
I recently decided to take on a weekly photographic challenge of photographing a specific theme each week. This week the theme was trains, and even though I recently joined a wonderful group of photographers at a real train station, I wanted to go out and try to get creative. I decided I would go to the Train Museum in Balboa Park, but on my way to the Train Museum, I passed the Museum of Photographic Arts. Now you know I LOVE photography, so after looking at the cost of the Train Museum I opted to use my money to go and enjoy the amazing exhibit they had at the Museum of Photographic Arts called 7 billion Others and the Model and Muse of Hendrik Kerstens…I just could not resist and I have NO regrets!!
Here are a few images I gathered from my wonderful trip to the Museum 🙂
At the entrance of the Museum, they had a multimedia exhibition called 7 billion Others in which various individuals from all over the world expressed different experiences and emotions that had me glued to the 30 minute presentation…it was very interesting to see the different experiences that we all have in common yet from different cultures.
Once you pass the multimedia exhibition at the entrance, they had different booths with various videos of people sharing personal thoughts and life experiences.
There was also a gallery with the works of Hendrik Kerstens. I had never heard of him, but it was a collection of his daughter, his muse, and they were stunning images that looked like different time periods of her.
I’m looking forward to an adventurous 2015 as I try different things and find new knowledge as I embark on my creative journey. I’m so thankful that I can do this as I do not take one minute for granted…life is just too short and while I have the blessing of good health and the opportunity, I plan to appreciate EVERY moment that I’m blessed to have.
